Ingredients Crust: - 1 C. Flour
- 2 T. Sugar
- 1/2 C. Margarine
Filling: - 3 Egg Yolks
- 1-1/2 C. Sugar
- 1/2 C. Cream
- 3 C. diced Rhubarb
- 2 T. Flour
Meringue: - 3 egg whites
- 2 T. Sugar
- 1/4 tsp. Salt
Directions
Mix ingredients for crust and pat into 9-in. square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min. Filling - Beat Egg yolks and add cream, flour and sugar. Place rhubarb on crust and pour filling mixture over it. Bake 35 min. at 350 degrees. Meringue - Beat eggs whites until stiff and add sugar and salt gradually. Spread on top of baked torte and return to oven until brown. |
