Ingredients - 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans, undrained
- 1 (10.5 oz.) can tomato soup
- 1 T. shortening
- Dash pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 tsp. vinegar
Directions
Cook beef, onion, garlic, and seasonings in shortening until meat is lightly browned. Add remaining ingredients. Cover; cook over low heat for 30 minutes; stir often. Uncover; cook to desired consistency.
