Ingredients
  • 1 loaf french bread
  • 1 (3 oz) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/4 lb. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cube butter
  • 2 egg whites, stiffly beaten

Directions

Remove crust from bread, cut in 1" cubes or bigger. In double boiler, melt cheeses with butter. When creamy, fold in egg whites. Dip bread into mixture and place on wax paper-lined cookie sheets and freeze. When frozen, place in plastic bag and store in freezer. To serve, bake at 350 degrees about 8 min.
